Congratulations! Prof. Sun Jun, a professor at XJTU’s School of Materials Science and Engineering, has been elected as a member of Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS). His research interests include the micro/nano-size effects and high performance in deformation and transformation behavior of materials, including aluminum alloys, titanium alloys, molybdenum alloys, shape memory alloys and metaIIic nanostructured multilayers. The Main research directions  include: Multiscale effects on deformation and transformation behavior of materials；Microstructure optimization and mechanical properties of metalIic materials.
