Research interests:

* Building hydrophobic surface by cold sprayed single splats;
* Effect of mechanical alloying parameters on the microstructure, particle size and contamination for cubic cBN reinforced NiCrAl matrix;
* Study on the multiple strengthening mechanisms for cold-sprayed ceramic dispersoid reinforced metallic matrix nanocomposite coatings;
* Study on the high velocity impact induced microstructure evolutions of nanocomposite powders during cold spray and their effects on the mechanical properties of the coatings; 
* Effect of substrate temperatures on the solidification and nucleation of atmospheric plasma sprayed Al2O3 and ZrO2 splats; 
* Dual-scale oxide dispersoids reinforcement of Fe40at.%Al intermetallic coating for both high hardness and high fracture toughness
