Research interests:

•      Metallic glasses, high-entropy alloys, nanostructured Mg- and Al-based metals;

•      Crystal-glass nano-dual-phase alloys and amorphous phase transformation of grain boundaries;

•      High-throughput, combinatorial magnetron sputtering;

•      Nano-/ Micromechanics and toughening mechanisms of materials;

•      Wear and corrosion behaviors of metals;

•      in-situ TEM/SEM testing techniques in loading, heating, electrical biasing and gas environment;

•      Atom resolved structure and composition characterizations: aberration-corrected scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM), atom probe tomography (APT) and correlative (S)TEM-APT
