Research interests:

1.         Structure Design, interface modification and application of advanced ceramics and their composites.

2.         Development of porous ceramics and ceramic films for electromagnetic wave transmitting and filtration.

3.         Study and preparation of high purity ceramic materials for precision part for semiconductor equipment.

4.         Toughening and strengthening of ceramics, like self-reinforcing mechanisms for silicon nitride and silicon carbide ceramics.

5.         Properties and microstructure of ceramic materials under extreme conditions.

6.         Advanced Ceramics for nuclear energy and armor, such as SiC based composites and devices.

7.         Additive manufacturing of high performance ceramics.
