On Dec. 6th, Professor Xiangdong DING, Dean of the School of Materials Science and Engineering (MSE), presented an innovative talk during the “Meeting the Dean” session series.

Professor Ding introduced in detail the latest research achievements of MSE, highlighting the school's expertise in materials science. To provide international students with a more intuitive understanding of the school's capabilities, Professor Ding shared a comprehensive overview of the School of Materials Science and Engineering at XJTU, highlighting its global standing, extensive international collaborations, specialized undergraduate programs for international students, and the pioneering research driving innovation in materials science.

During the Q&A session hosted by prof. DING and prof. CHEN Kai, students from around the world posed questions encompassing professional orientations, research areas, and future development trends, creating a lively atmosphere.

This session garnered over 3.4kviews and more than 30 interactions, offering invaluable guidance to international students for their future academic and career paths. Professors expressed their hope that international students with an interest in materials science would consider joining MSE and collaborate with them to propel advancements and developments in the field.
