1.         Deformation and fracture of nanostructured metal thin films/nanolaminates.

2.         Development and application of high-performance metal coatings for nuclear fuel claddings.

3.         Corrosion/oxidation resistance and thermal stability at high temperature of refractory high entropy alloy coatings.
